Lake Dreamland Fire Department KY - Fire Chief John E. Wilkinson, Jr. passed away at home from an apparent heart attack several hours after running a fire call.
From the USFA Firefighters Memorial page: Fire Chief Wilkinson responded to and worked an outdoor fire. After returning home and in the early morning hours, Wilkinson experienced a medical emergency initially reported to have been a heart attack. Emergency responders were summoned to the residence but despite all efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
