I got a new assignment that I requesting helping with the Opening Ceremonies. It does not have an Accept/Decline box but just a box with a check mark in it. I have left the check mark in it and did a save changes on it. Does that show that I have accepted the assignment?

I was down getting my credentials and saw they needed help during the Opening Ceremonies. I thought about it and decided I would like to help. How do I go about signing up/getting a position?
