I'd just like to say a big thank you to Dennis for all his efforts in organising such a brilliant week of racing. He has not had it easy will challenging weather conditions, a lack of volunteers and the horrendous tragic events of yesterday. Dennis you have provided the some of the safest and enjoyable courses that I have ridden. I am amazed at your passion for our sport and your attention to detail providing us all with the information we required. I'm sure I speak for all of the cycling... Show more

Dennis says 36 so that's good enough for me as I'm in the same age group 24 mile is too short for a road race its more like the distance for a crit.

Road Race

Anybody know what will the distance will be for the road race in the over 45 year category?. In Belfast they only did 18 miles. I rode in the 40 - 45 age group which was 36 miles. Just wondered as I,m now 45+ and in UK races tend to be 40, 50, 60 miles. It seems hardly worth travelling to the other side of the world for a race of 40 odd minutes. Any chance of a course profile. Thanks
