What is the proper attire for the Opening Ceremonies at JFK? Is it a dress uniform, job shirt or that cool new golf shirt we can pre-order in the store?

I have just entered 5 swimming events. I competed in the 1985 (San Jose) & 1987 (San Diego) WPFG. Looking forward to this.

Dave McWilliams It holds everything I need. It even has a seperate compartment for shoes. Don't really need shoes for swimming though. But, I might get a new pair just to keep in that compartment. I like the bag alot! 7 years ago

A complete set of pins from the 1985 WPFG. The plaque on the bacck says: Set # 2105 Limited Edition of 5000, 1st World Police & Fire Games. I can't believe it has survived two moves and a basement flood. Thought you would enjoy seeing it.

Dave McWilliams I am staying out at the Suburban Extended Stay - Sterling. A little more affordable for my budget. I don't plan on spending much time at the hotel anyway. 7 years ago

I have a question about the relays. Do we need to bring a four man team or can we hook up with others when we arrive and form a relay team?

Carol Miller Hi Dave,
You can bring a four man team, if you can't form one, there are always "pool" swimmers who get together and form a relay team. Hope that helps!
