Firefighters from West Springfield sought out the Stuff the Bus food drive at the Cardinal Giant, Feb. 17, 2014. The food will benefit ECHO, a nonprofit in Springfield. More than 2,000 pounds of food was collected. A big thank you to for the help.
Lieutenant Bruce Britt of the Columbia Fire Department (MO) was able to clear many students away from this walkway before it collapsed on him. He saved so many from harms way by giving of himself. Our thoughts and prayers to everyone involved, the family and the Columbia Fire Department. RIP.
