I had a great time at my first WPFG games and met some lovely people. I just missed out on a medal in both singles and team but am very pleased with my placing despite some relatively poor play on day one. Hope to see you all in Montreal

Hi All. I understand that we have a meet up the evening before the golf starts, is this true? I was wondering if there is any necessity to drag a suit and tie over from the UK? I wash up quite nice but, if I don't need to bring one, it'd save me some valuable luggage space!

Mike Oda I am driving from Canada & no way am I dragging a suit. It is a golf info meet up. I suspect golf attire will suffice. 8 years ago

Tim Van Houwelingen Leave your suit at home, but do bring patches, coins or other collectibles for trading with others. 8 years ago

Hi All. Does anyone know how the pairs event works? I have signed up for it but don't have a partner (odd number of people attending for the England/Wales prison team). Are we able to advertise and join with fellow competitors from across the world? I think this would be a great idea and way to meet new people. If this is the case, does anyone want to pair with me? I have a handicap of 15.

Tom Wilson Thanks Craig. I like the idea of the social network and I have met a few people through this site already. I think the one thing that is missing is maybe a page for the official notices that are received. For example, it would be good to see the... Show more 8 years ago

Hi All. Does anyone know how best to get an official handicap? I have a handicap registration number (and outdated handicap) but have not been a member of a club for 2 years and so the handicap is no where near what it should be. Any advice gratefully received.

Pamela Juelharte I use Golfsmith. Just google golfsmith handicap and it will take you to their online handicap club. Works out well for me since I don't belong to a club. 8 years ago

Thanks Jeff.

I, and some others, have asked the same question but there seems to be a slowness to this particular subject!

Hi All. Does anyone know how the 3 courses are allocated? When I registered for the golf, I could only choose the type of completion to enter (e.g. handicap or scratch) rather than the course. Have I missed something during the registration process?

Thanks for any assistance.

Mike Oda Hey Tom, you will play all three courses over 3 day. Hope that helps. 9 years ago

Is there minimum standard information for this event? I am fairly new to CrossFit and would be there for the experience and the fun, not to win. I am ok at at most of the exercises but have never attempted the overhead squat or snatch.
