Can anyone tell me what Katas Karate participants are judged on? Can you advise how many different Katas are completed during an individuals performances? I'm a first timer and really excited to compete. thanks for the help.

It shows WKF Rules so if brown or black belt you should be able to do any Kata (Shito, Wado, Shotokan or Goju) if you are a lower belt probably a pinan or Heian. What belt are you?

Brown belt. i have been working on Bassai Dai and Seienchin. Do you know if i need to know more katas than that? thanks for your help.

for WKF usually is a different kata for every round, but I don't know if they will enforce that. I was told that 'drew.mitchell@fairfax2015.com' is the POC for karate maybe he can answer that.
