Hey folks.  It will be hot at either club.  If you are driving, be sure to bring a decent cooler.  Keep it full of water or other preference.  Neither club has much in the way of seating.  Be sure to bring comfortable folding chairs for yourselves.  And, to be great new friends, it might be nice to bring at least one additional (space allowing) for our friends who have to fly in.  I'm driving from Memphis, and will bring 2 additional chairs.  Bull Run is a pretty club, with lots of shade, but it'll still be hot.  The clubhouse has only so much space, and it'll stay pretty full.  Dress right.  Most of you coming from outside the area have already done your homework, I know.  Just a heads up.  Temperatures will likely be 80-100 degrees (26-37 degrees for you folks using Celsius).  Humidity should fall between 50 and 100%, depending on winds and rain.  Remember that the D.C. area was a swampy portion of the Potomac River when it was built, and remains muggy.  Bring bug spray, or some sort of bug lotion.  I've never been eaten alive at Bull Run, but mornings find the gnats swarming a bit.  With all the fresh meat that we present, I advise a good repellent.  I'm looking forward to seeing you all there.John
