Scott, I tried to upload an image with the records for the 82.5KG class up to 2011. I don't know how accurate it is. However, based on the information you provided; I say go for it and good luck!

Scott that a very respectable amount even for a heavier weight class. You would have a very good chance at doing very well. Basically anything twice your bodyweight or more is going to be competitive and you'd have a good shot of winning MOST meets

It is always about you! never worry what the next guy is doing. You can only do what you can do! I have know lifters for years who know they will never win, but just like to compete and meet new lifters. So just do it.
