I may swing by on Thursday (since you're open until 9) -- just to resolve my question about July 3. I've signed up for a shift at the Ashburn Ice House on that day but there's no game scheduled. If I'm needed for cleanup/teardown that's fine but I don't want to go to the venue only to find out everything is shut down. Given the email system's operation, I'm not confident that I'd get an email saying "don't come"

I just looked at their schedule and the only public event that day is 1.5 hour free skate int the middle of the day. Maybe they are holding if for late games or something like that.

I accepted a roll in social media in person at the Glen this past Saturday because I was told they did not have a roll for me hence why I had not gotten an email. It seems maybe they are looking for people out of school or retired rather than those working during the week? I signed up and got the info for who schedules photographers. They have yet to contact me back. Yesterday I finally got the email with a position to accept, accepted it and there are no open shifts. If I signed up for a roll on Friday why did I get this email still for shifts that were already full anyway? I am I signed up still for a roll with no open shifts or the social media I have yet to get a response to an email already sent?

Role assignment emails are unreliable, and likely are just sitting in a queue somewhere for most people. It's what shows on the fuse site that counts. Good luck on connecting with the social media folks, Craig Luecke might be a good person to reach out...Role assignment emails are unreliable, and likely are just sitting in a queue somewhere for most people. It's what shows on the fuse site that counts. Good luck on connecting with the social media folks, Craig Luecke might be a good person to reach out to (he posts on the boards and is key in the social media effort) to see how to move forward to an actual time assignment.

I just re-read the handbook and there's a reference that exact shift checkin times will be emailed to us and posted by June 24. Given their adherence to email "we'll let you know by X date" announcements so far I doubt I'll see something today...I just re-read the handbook and there's a reference that exact shift checkin times will be emailed to us and posted by June 24.
