cross-posting : A quick heads up for anyone intending to go to the Firefighter Muster event today (Saturday), the venue is on the parade route for the local July 4th Parade so the street in front of it will be closed to traffic... something to consider for anyone like myself that was intending to drive and park nearby.

Is there anyone going to the Sprint orienteering from Springfield way? as I am trying to get there after doing the Ultimate Firefighter event but public transport looks to be very long and complicated.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly welcome

I'll be one of the WPFG volunteer photographers on duty for the Muster event so if any of you need particular pictures taken for your home publications do let me know and I'll do my best. Also if there are any irish competitors do let me know as I'm travelling from Ireland for this and hoping to write up a few stories on Irish competitors for my journalism portfolio.

Please review your letter of confirmation that you will be receiving in the mail for practice dates and pre-competition meetings.

Lastly, it is expected that everyone brings their own gear to run in however we understand that things happen and sometimes the gear cannot be transported, so Globe Fire Gear has agreed to provide gear for those of you needing it. If you cannot bring your gear and need a set please email me at jason.abitz2015@fairfax2015.com no later than June 3rd with your coat and glove size.

Is it possible to borrow a tunic and helmet on the day?

Has there been any decision yet on what age brackets are competing on what day? Need to make sure it does not conflict with my team sport. Registration closes in a few days. If there is a clash do we get our money back if we unregister??

Hi I am looking for 3 other over 45s who are up for entering the Ultimate Firefighter team event.
Each member just has to run one of the four events
We did it in Belfast and a lot of fun and would be good to have a go again. If interested just reply here or message me.
