1) What is the maximum 4 persons teams allowed for the competition, is it full or we still can register?
2) How do we register as a team, do we need a team name?
3) How does it work for the points? If it's a men or women doing one of the event in the TTA, is the same?

Hi
I have a few questions please;
1. What is a "quick start" in the rope climb? - All starts are sitting and arms fully extended?
2. Rope diameter?
3. Diameter of the pull-up bar?

Thank you
Adam

Tony Biller 1.The quick start is a technique where the competitor holds the rope and then drops to his butt and bounce starts. As long as he advised the officials this is the technique he will use and his feet leave the ground before his butt it is good. Time... Show more 7 days ago

Thank You

i am currently scheduled for the 40+ , over 200, however if the meeting is the night before the first day and i don't compete until day three, i will not be able to stay in VA for 4 days. SHould i change my category to just 40-45 (under 200) to avoid having to be there for weighins the night prior to day one?

Tony Biller Hello Scott, this is the schedule so far. Day 1: Women and Grandmasters 50+ Day 2 TBD Day 3 TBD Day 4 Mixed Doubles and Teams. You will either be competing on Day 2 or 3. The registration numbers are still coming in. 2 weeks ago

Attention TCA athletes: I have posted the typical 4 day TCA schedule from most of the past WPFG's . It is a good bet that this will be our schedule here in Fairfax. We will know the final schedule when this event (TCA) registration is full. We are 3/4 full as of today.

Day 1: Women
Master Men
Grand Master Men
Day 2: Senior Men
Day 3: Open Men
Heavy Weight
Day 4: 4 Person Team

Good luck with your training and traveling plans.

I was planning on competing in the TCA. I'm 51 years old and over 200lbs. What category would I enter and are there many signed up for this category?

Tony Biller Registration numbers in each category are filling up fast. It will be a personal choice on your part which category to sign up for. You can choose 50-54 division or 50+ over 200lbs. To win a medal in either will be a test of ones true fitness. 3 weeks ago

Attention TCA athletes. The start time for the June 26th orientation meeting has been changed to 1200 in order for athletes to attend the opening ceremony.

Tony are we any closer to finding out the competition days for all divisions?

Tony Biller Registration for the TCA is still open. It is not possible to establish the schedule since we do not have complete numbers in each division. If we have a large number of athletes sign up for one division the numbers have to be adjusted accordingly. 1 month ago

Jake Frey Here are 2013's TCA results...

I have a question.. I have read that events fill up, I am looking at competing in the mens, 57 years old.. What number determines if the event is full? In other words, how many people can compete in that category and is there space left, and how much space is left.

Tony Biller Due to the logistical load of the 8 events in one day only 70 athletes can compete each day. The California Police Athletic Association receives registrations and will categorize athletes accordingly. Currently we have 124 competitors registered... Show more 2 months ago
