On Jan 19, 2010, U.S. Air Force Pararescue Jumpers from the Air Force Special Operations Command along with the Virginia Task Force-One of the Fairfax County Urban Search and Rescue, assist Turkish and French search and rescue teams in freeing a 25 year-old woman trapped in a collapsed structure for seven days, after a magnitude 7.4 earthquake hit Haiti Jan. 12, 2010. Once the woman is freed, the AF Pararescue Jumpers secure her onto a litter and assist in lowering her down from the building's rooftop. AF Pararescue Jumpers have performed search and rescue operations continuously since arriving in Haiti. (U.S. Air Force video by Staff Sgt. Burt Traynor)
