Limited Athlete Tours for Fairfax County Adult Detention Center Available

b2ap3_thumbnail_311117_0.jpgThe Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office would like to provide tours of the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center to those competing in the 2015 World Police & Fire Games.  We will be offering tours on Monday June 29th and July 2nd at 9:30 am.  The size of the tour groups will be held to 30 and participants must register prior to the tour dates.  Additional tours may be offered depending on the level of interest.  The tours are only available to those who are active or retired members of public safety.  Those who wish to participate must have their active or retired credentials with them at the time of the tour.  Weapons of any kind are not permitted in the Adult Detention Center.  The Adult Detention Center is located at 10520 Judicial Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.  Participants are responsible for their own transportation.  Parking will be validated and is available in the Public Parking Garage located at 10550 Page Avenue, Fairfax, VA 22030.  Those who are interested in registering for a tour must email First Lieutenant Steve Elbert at: steve.elbert@fairfaxcounty.gov
