Fairfax County Criminal Justice Track & Range

The Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy trains men and women for the Fairfax County Police Department, the Fairfax County sheriff's office and the Fairfax County fire marshal's office. Major Cindy A. McAlister is the director of the facility, and outside law enforcement agencies are able to take classes there as well. The facility consists of a 1.1 mile high speed track, four observation towers, 1.0 miles of secondary roads, an off road recovery area, and a 125' x 300' oval skid pan with an automatic water system. The facility also has an on site garage, a building which includes two classrooms, instructor office space, a kitchen and restrooms.
