Attention TCA athletes. The start time for the June 26th orientation meeting has been changed to 1200 in order for athletes to attend the opening ceremony.

Attention TCA athletes. The tca- scorecard lists point values for all 8 disciplines. The Bench Press and Shot Put on this list are incomplete. Check the Bench Press and Shot Put file below to find these values.

Each competitor is required to start with at least one foot on the lower bar, touch each of the 9 rungs, and then touch at least one foot on the lower bar on the way out of the monkey bars.

If you want to be competitive you have a year to get your body fat down to no more than 6-8 percent. If you look at the TCA's best that is where they will be.

Peter Thompson Swedish competitor Mats Norlund is what people should be aiming for. He was very very good in Belfast. Also, the Barcelona airport firemen, some of them small in stature were very good at every event, perfect balance. 9 years ago

The TCA consist of 8 phases. 5K Cross Country Run, Shot Put, 100 Meter Run, 100 Meter Swim, 20 FT Rope Climb, Bench Press, Pull-Ups and Obstacle Course. Check out some of the posted videos on this site to get started. The scoring cards posted here should help also. Hope to see you take up the challenge.
