I agree completely with Paul. In Belfast, the spouses were banned from walking along, and that took a lot of enjoyment out of it. If you want to have strict "coaching" rules for the top flights, fine. But in the hacker divisions, my wife won't be coaching me. Heck I barely listen to her off the course, I'm sure not listening to her on the course.
