Just back from evergreen golf course. Beautiful course and credit to the club and the organisers. The 2 hour delay this morning was a bit of a bummer but it was understandable to allow for the fairways to be cut. The free buffet and drink afterwards was a unexpected pleasant surprise. Hope tomorrow's round at lansdown is as good. As for the golf all I can say was the company was good

Got a round of golf Wednesday afternoon at laurel hill $35 each including buggy at golfnow.com

Hi everyone
I was indoor volleyball coordinator in Belfast. I'm sure fairfax will be similar to Belfast in that you can register players onto a already registered team at any time, even at athlete registration. Hope this helps

Hi Chris
I had asked a number of questions over a month ago and am still waiting for a reply this was the post. Maybe you did not see it
Maybe we need a clear definition of what is needed in regards to handicaps, and for those who do not have a handicap. I have noticed a few posts from people who do not have an official handicap looking to play. While I have no problem with this I wonder how it will be managed. Maybe we need a clear definition of what is needed in regards to handicaps, and for those who do not have a handicap. I have noticed a few posts from people who do not have an official handicap looking to play. While I have no problem with this I wonder how it will be managed. I play regularly and put cards into my club. This regulates my handicap. For those getting handicaps just before they come to the games does not mean this is there true handicap. I have seen sandbaggers in the past playing off high handicaps when their actual handicap is single figures, all because they do not enter cards.
Will the Golf manager, co ordinations, be ensuring this does not happen?
Do we known the format for play yet? Is it timed starts or shotgun?
Do we know if we will be able to have practice rounds, and if so will they be at a reduced green fee rate?
Are family and friends allowed onto the course?
Will coordinators be able to facilitate people who wish to, and travelling together play the same course each day, and if timed starts, playing around same time?
And finally do the club bars do baby Guinness ?
( that's for Tom)

Seems to be a awful lot of discussion about handicaps.

Looking forward to meeting lots of competitors that played during the Belfast games in Lisburn. Had a great time as volleyball coordinator and make many new friends.
Already tried that Aiden. Was told only open to Americans. Having said that if your an Irish relation of the president you might be able to get in

A pre-party for golfers sounds like a great idea. It will give us everyone a chane to get together and meet up with friends from past game, Not sure if the night before the first day's play is a good idea. I guess I will just have to drink in moderation and go back to my hotel early 2-3 am
Right now for those of you who have been asking, we are looking at the pre-game party for golfers to be Sunday June 28th night from 6 or 7 pm until a time still to be determined.
Heading over to scotland this weekend for the biennial kick american golfers ass that is better known as the Ryder Cup. As a roving team leader I have the privleidge of being with Northern Ireland's ( not to be mistaken for Ireland ) Graham McDowell all week.
Fully expect the northern irish guys, that means that other little known golfer Rory Mcilroy to help Europe wipe the floor with our American Friends.
CMON NORN IRON, and EUROPE
