New Venue For The Weightlifting Events
Tuesday, 03 June 2014 19:26 by Jim PopeJim hello!!!! I would like to know if there are my photos in competitions and how to get?

Hello All, I just joined and was interested in competing. Are there qualifiers to enter the games? I am retired from Baltimore PD. Blessings to all. Be careful and Stay Safe.

Thank you Jim Pope and team for all.
Check out this video created by David Alvarez and his lifts at #fairfax2015 #wpfg
Loading content, please wait.Maybe one day they will test athletes in the games.
Does anyone have photos from this year's event to share? I posted a few videos on the FB page for the games but haven't seen any shared publicly from the page and only one "highlights" clip was shared. This was so much fun to work on as a volunteer!!
Figured I'll say this before they pull the plug on the site. Jim Pope, and all the rest of the folks who put this event together did a great job. It ran very smoothly, and was a great first meet experience. THANKS!!
Also -- thanks to all the other athletes who were welcoming and supportive to newbies like me.
Jim,
I'm sure you might have heard this already but someone has screwed up the numbers. In the 100 kg 50-55 category I won the Gold and they have me listed as second. I broke three World Records bench/deadlift/total. They have my bench at 192.5 and my dead lift at 288 which totals 480.5. They have it totaling 408.5. Can you please correct this please. Thanks Chris

Mr. Pope, I'm sure that you have heard this but, some of the information on the results is erroneous. My Bench Press was 197.5 and Deadlift was 282,5, Totaling 480 Kilos

Very impressed with the professionalism of the Officals, spotters, volunteers and the overall lifting event. As well as the fellowship of the LEO's and Firefighters supporting each other.

Hey Jim, thanks for all you did at the meet, lookingat the results they have me in second place lol. maybe they can make a change when they have a minute. Going to make it right in 2017.

Jim you ran a great meet what a honor it was to lift at the games
