Ken's Excellence school will be opening up a new Broadcasting program this year in 2012 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn NY for outgoing and intelligent students who are currently attending Junior High School, High School, and College in New York City.
This program is ideal for students who are interested in gaining experience in becoming TV reporters in the near future or to acquire school credit and community service hours. We will also select a young anchor team by the end of the year 2013, who will be responsible for covering the following areas: entertainment, sports, weather, and local news.
Our YouTube channel already features a sample of 120 different videos, covering numerous of events that took place in New York City. Students will have the opportunity to choose a scene that they want to report on. They will work with our licensed creative writing teacher and learn how to write a script, how to go out into the real world and interview people on the street, and much more.
